Inauguration of TNPID Special Court at Madurai
Under TNPID Act 1997 two special courts have been ordered to be constituted at Madurai and Coimbatore as per G.O.No.1018/2007, dated: 05.07.2007 and notification fixing the jurisdiction of the courts has been issued as per G.O.No.31/08, dated: 10.01.2008. The Madurai TNPID Court has been inaugurated on 07.04.2008 by the Hon'ble Minister for Law Thiru Durai Murugan and Hon'ble High Court Judge Thiru Justice P.D.Dinakaran.
The following districts will come under the jurisdiction of this TNPID Court, Madurai, namely:
